What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is system of adjusting the misaligned bones of the spine to reduce nerve disturbance and restore the body to a state of ease. It is done without drugs or surgery. These problems (know as subluxations) interfere with your body's ability to regulate itself and function properly, often leading to health challenges. People with various health challenges from pain symptoms to digestive problems can notice improvements and benefit from chiropractic care.
Do I need a Chiropractor?
We will do a assessment including taking a full health history, preform a chiropractic exam and x-rays if necessary. Only after this can we tell you if chiropractic adjustments are needed.
Is it Safe?
YES! Chiropractic is one of the safest forms of health care available. From little babies, to top-notch athletes to grandparents all are able to be under chiropractic care.
I am Pregnant, should I get adjusted?
Absolutely! This is an important time to ensure optimal body function. Furthermore, research has shown that women under chiropractic care during pregnancy have better pregnancies, less complications and shorter labor times. Dr. Anna Junge has extra training in pregnancy and loves working with this population of women.

Chiropractic adjustments are often very comfortable and some people love getting adjusted reporting instant relief. In some instances, when people come to us in pain and areas of the spine may be tender. The doctors will do their best to adapt the adjustment for optimal comfort.
Although we are only 'in-network' with Mayo Health Insurance, we will get your insurance card and call to determine what your benefits are. Many still choose our office due to no coverage, high deductibles and high co-pays. Furthermore, you can use your HSA/FSA/HRA and even care credit. We often hear how our prices are very reasonable.
The short answer is "it depends." There are many variables that go into considering an estimation of the number of visits it will take before health is improved and symptoms improve. Someone may notice improvements after just a few visits, while other's take more. For instance a 60 year old man who sits all day and is a smoker will need more adjustments than an active teenager. We will do our best to give you an estimation and answer your questions.
Do I have to be referred by a medical doctor?
No, although a medical doctor or physical therapist may refer you to a chiropractor, it is not required.
